Macmillan Cancer Support: Mesothelioma Overview

Mesothelioma is a cancer caused primarily by exposure to asbestos. The disease can affect the lungs, stomach, heart, and testicles. The symptoms of mesothelioma can take anywhere from 20 to 50 years to manifest, making it a difficult to diagnose in early stages.
