Many mesothelioma patients will fight their cancer with chemotherapy  — potent cancer cell-killing drugs that are ingested orally or delivered intravenously.  When chemotherapy is prescribed, it is deemed necessary. Before starting a chemo course, patients should be made aware of several side effects that could occur during or after treatment.
